Lip Balm Scents and Tastes

LavenderSage currently offers 7 different scents of lip balms.  Why don't I use the term 'flavors'?  Well, most lip balms are not actually flavored with the scent you smell.  A lip safe, scented 'flavoring' oil is added to lip balms to give them their scent, but there is no real flavor to them.  Sweet tasting lip balms get their sweetness from natural, and artificial, sweeteners such as stevia, sweet -n- low, etc.  The brain registers the scent of the lip balms, with the sweet taste of the sweeteners, as a flavor.  It's AMAZING how the brain can trick us at times.  LavenderSage lip balms are made with a touch of honey to take away any bitter taste, but they are not sweet.  We purposely make them this way so that our customers can enjoy the benefits of the scents, and skin softening ingredients, without the urge to constantly lick their lips.  Yes, licking your lips will make them dry.  Our lip balms are glossy upon initial application, but change to a matte finish after a minute or so.  Another advantage to our lip balms is that they are dual scented.  The first scent is noticable upon application, and after a minute, the second scent is noticable.  Therefore, in essence, you get two flavors for the price of one.  Now, that's a deal!  Try one of our lip balms!  We'd love to hear your feedback on them.
