Spring Fever
LavenderSage is in the spring mood and getting ready to launch a new look to our website. In addition to the new look, we are going to be introducing body mists to match our lotion and bath/shower gel line. We will have a bunch of new scents, body yogurts, essential oil goats milk soaps, and new summer scents to our lip balm line. Our body yogurts and new lip balm scents have sun protection products in them such as kukui nut oil and aloe butter. We are excited about the new line coming out and anticipate the feedback from all of our customers. We look for all of this to come about the first half of April so, keep checking the site for new product additions to our line.

Brown Sugar Is Not Just For The Kitchen Anymore
LavenderSage currently offers 5 different, natural, brown sugar scrubs. Our scrubs are made with ingredients such as cocoa, coffee, and essential oils. We believe that all of the ingredients for healthy, younger looking skin are found in nature. Many of us tend to get caught up in the hype of modern beauty fixes that contain synthetic ingredients to hide our flaws. Well, at LavenderSage, we combine the perfect amounts of safflower oil, coconut oil, and brown sugar to gently exfoliate and soften the skin. The oils we use will not clog the pores and excellent for anyone from dry skin, to acne-prone skin. The oils are easily absorbed into the skin, and do not leave a greasy, heavy feeling afterwards. In fact, safflower is used by many hospitals on newborn babies, and coconut oil helps fight off free-radicals that cause aging. Brown sugar contains and alpha-hydroxy acid called glycolic acid that helps fight the signs of aging as well. Our essential oils help with skin issues such as tone, and texture. Cocoa provides the skin with antioxidants, and moisturizes. Coffee helps to firm, and tighten, the skin. Whatever your scent choice may be, ALL of our brown sugar scrubs will leave your skin feeling the softest it's EVER been. You will see results with this upon initial use. Don't just limit your sugar scrub to rough areas of your skin...it's EXCELLENT as a light facial exfoliator. Try a brown sugar scrub today. You won't know how you ever lived without it!

Lip Balm Scents and Tastes
LavenderSage currently offers 7 different scents of lip balms. Why don't I use the term 'flavors'? Well, most lip balms are not actually flavored with the scent you smell. A lip safe, scented 'flavoring' oil is added to lip balms to give them their scent, but there is no real flavor to them. Sweet tasting lip balms get their sweetness from natural, and artificial, sweeteners such as stevia, sweet -n- low, etc. The brain registers the scent of the lip balms, with the sweet taste of the sweeteners, as a flavor. It's AMAZING how the brain can trick us at times. LavenderSage lip balms are made with a touch of honey to take away any bitter taste, but they are not sweet. We purposely make them this way so that our customers can enjoy the benefits of the scents, and skin softening ingredients, without the urge to constantly lick their lips. Yes, licking your lips will make them dry. Our lip balms are glossy upon initial application, but change to a matte finish after a minute or so. Another advantage to our lip balms is that they are dual scented. The first scent is noticable upon application, and after a minute, the second scent is noticable. Therefore, in essence, you get two flavors for the price of one. Now, that's a deal! Try one of our lip balms! We'd love to hear your feedback on them.
